What do you call 100,000 people in fifteen cities going nuts for bikes? I call it freaking awesome! The formal name is The Bicycle Film Festival. I have partaken in the past and cannot recommend the experience highly enough. The festival features films that will make you laugh, cry, and want to kiss automobiles goodbye. Tall, track, recumbent, BMX or whatever . . . it’s a total love fest.

Last year the festival took place in: New York • Los Angeles • Paris • Chicago • Toronto • Portland • Minneapolis • San Francisco • Vienna • London • Barcelona • Roma • Milano • Sydney • Melbourne • Tokyo

If your city is not on the list contact the organizers and figure out how to get it in your town. All the cool kids are doing it, be one of US!!!!

Check out last year’s trailer but a word of warning, if you watch it at work you will immediately want to tell your boss you are feeling sick and want to go home.
